Starting a new cycle of growth 🌱

Welcome to my new blog! 🎉🎉

Today is Spring Equinox so obvi, I wanted to launch my new website now.  The first day of Spring is all about renewal, planting seeds, beginning a new cycle of growth. 🌱

(Plus, my astrologer advised that Spring 2024 was when I would be launching a new business or career… so gotta trust those signs from the universe!) 💫🪐🌓

But the main reason I wanted to start in Spring is that it’s the most important time of year for tending to your home. I’ve always enjoyed the ritual of Spring Cleaning. I know some may think that sounds crazy! 😵 Or dread it as a pile of chores to avoid at all costs. 🧹🙅🏻‍♂️ But I see it as a wonderful time to clear out, clean up, and get organized.

But the main reason I wanted to start in Spring is that it’s the most important time of year for tending to your home. I’ve always enjoyed the ritual of Spring Cleaning. I know some may think that sounds crazy! 😵 Or dread it as a pile of chores to avoid at all costs. 🧹🙅🏻‍♂️ But I see it as a wonderful time to clear out, clean up, and get organized.

It’s like giving your home a reset!

A fresh new start for the year ahead…

If you consider all the things you accumulate in a year (gifts, clothes, nicknacks, paperwork), then it only makes sense that we need to dedicate some time each year to removing things. Otherwise, our homes, closets, cabinets, and tabletops just keep getting filled with more stuff to the point it feels more cramped, less spacious, and even anxiety-provoking.

And that’s what Spring Cleaning is about. Setting aside some time each year to be intentional about our spaces and give our homes some love. 🏡💖

It’s time to consider what you can let go of, what you don’t need, or what you don’t use/like anymore. 👍 👎

It’s time to sort the piles, take care of paperwork, and archive or toss the rest. 📂 🗑️  

Time to get out your Sharpies and Post-its!

If you can clear out some closet space, desk space, or floor space…
it can make you feel remarkably lighter and more relaxed at home. 😌🧘🏽‍♀️

It’s also a good time of year to:

✅ finish projects

🛠️ fix what’s broken,

🧽 do a deep clean,

🖼️ spruce up the design,

🪴 get some new plants,

…and make your place feel sparkly and new again! ✨🏡✨


A freshly organized and clean space leaves room for more creativity to flourish. When piles of projects or papers are always in your visual field, it can weigh you down (because subconsciously, you see all these things that need to be done or put away!). But when everything is neat & clean, you can sit back and envision what it is you want to manifest this year.

So get in tune with Mother Nature, and give your space some consideration. Maybe you can set aside a couple afternoons this Spring to clear things out, tidy up, and give your space some love.
